Broadway and pop bassist Alex Eckhardt has worked with a diverse roster of artists including Sara Bareilles, Lin-Manuel Miranda, The Killers, Kelly Clarkson, Meghan Trainor, Gloria Estefan, Max Martin, Josh Groban, Renee Fleming, Black Thought, Ledisi, Calum Scott, Cynthia Erivo, Ben Platt, and many more. She often doubles on cello and vocals, and her film score credits include Chicken Run 2 (Netflix), FUBAR (Netflix), and Emergency (Amazon).
She has appeared on national platforms including The Tonight Show, The Late Show, NPR’s Tiny Desk, and has played iconic venues such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, The Kennedy Center, and The Hollywood Bowl. Alex toured nationally with In the Heights and The Book of Mormon, and originated the bass chair on two Tony Award-winning best musicals - The Band’s Visit (also featured on the Grammy-winning cast album) and The Outsiders.
